Made these crackers a couple of days ago.. they are delicious and very addictive.
2 cups all purpose flour
pinch salt
pinch sugar
1/2 tbsp baking powder
4 tbsp fresh rosemary..chopped
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup half n half
cracked pepper, grated parmesan, coarse sea salt, cumin seeds, sesame seeds..for variations on the crackers.
Add flirst six ingredients into a food processor and pulse until it resembles bread crumbs.
Add half-n-half (or milk).. pulse some more.
Take out onto a floured board, knead to a dough. You may need more liquid, but the dough will be crumbly.
Divide mixture into 4 parts, chill for 30 min.
Roll out dough, to desired thickness. Cut with a pastry wheel or pizza cutter.
Bake at 300 F for 15-20 min .. or until done.
Cool and pack in airtight containers...
To make cheese crackers.. add parmesan to the dough.
Pepper, sea salt and various seeds can be added to the top of the rolled dough and then rolled again gently so they sticked to the dough.
These were great plain or with mild cheese and tapenade
